Taylor Swift Delights the Internet by Screaming ‘Let’s F—ing Go!’ After Travis Kelce Touchdown
Swift was seen excitedly jumping up and down and clapping after Kelce scored a touchdown in the third quarter
Taylor Swift had a marvelous time watching Travis Kelce score a touchdown on Sunday.
While in attendance at Arrowhead Stadium to see Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs face-off with the Chicago Bears, the pop megastar couldn’t contain her excitement once the tight end scored a touchdown in the third quarter.
In a video posted to X (formerly Twitter) by the NFL, the “Lavender Haze” singer, 33, appears to jump up and down and shout “let’s f—ing go” after Kelce, 33, scores an impressive touchdown and does a celebratory dance during the game.
It happened to be a great match for Swift to attend. With only seven minutes remaining in the third quarter, Kelce caught the ball in the back of the end zone, helping his team take the lead 41-0 over the Bears. After his touchdown, Swift was seen jumping up and down in the suite.
The Chiefs won the game with a final score of 41-10.
Sporting red and white, Swift spent Sunday’s game in a suite next to Kelce’s mother, Donna, where they could be seen chatting and laughing together throughout the game.
Swift’s appearance at Arrowhead comes just days after Kelce invited her to attend the game during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show podcast. A source told TH that once Swift heard about the invite, she didn’t let a busy schedule stop her from accepting.
“Taylor is very focused on work right now and hanging out with her girlfriends,” the source said. “Travis invited her to the game, and of course she said ‘yes.'”
“She just thought it was a fantastic way to spend Sunday,” the source continued.
On the podcast Thursday, host Pat McAfee asked Kelce if he wanted to “expand upon” the rumors that he and Swift are dating, which is “being talked about by the whole entire world right now.”
While Kelce wouldn’t confirm whether he and Swift had actually met in person, he did say he “threw the ball in her court.”
“I’ve seen you rock the stage at Arrowhead,” he told McAfee, as if speaking directly to the “I Can See You” singer. “You might have to come see me rock the stage at Arrowhead and see which one’s a little more lit.”
Kelce added, “We’ll see what happens in the near future.”
The football player first publicly shared that he had a crush on Swift in July, after attending her Eras Tour concert in Kansas City, Missouri. On his podcast New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, co-hosted by his brother Jason, Kelce revealed how he wanted to meet the musician and exchange phone numbers after the show.
“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” Kelce explained, while adding that he was “a little butthurt” that he was unable to execute his plan at the time.
