Inside Taylor Swift’s food order from local Sydney baker: Cake store tasked with baking an ‘Eras Tour’-themed cake that will be hand delivered to the pop megastar
A Sydney cake store has been tasked with baking a cake for global pop megastar Taylor Swift.
Bakealicious by Gabriela, a boutique cake shop located in Forestville, has created an Eras Tour cake for the 34-year-old US pop star.
Founder and baker Gabriela Oporto, who has baked cakes for the likes of Ed Sheeran and Harry Styles, has revealed the intricate details behind the specially-designed cake.
‘The cake we made for Tay Tay represents everything Bakealicious is about – handmade with quality ingredients – we combined Taylor’s favourites Milk Bar Store Cake and our traditional Chilean Mil Hojas and Dulce de Leche Cake,’ she said.
‘It’s finished off with puff pastry horns filled with Dulce de Leche buttercream. Then sprinkled with pastel glitters and the final touch a purple flower (Taylor’s favourite colour).’

Gabriela added that when singer Ed received a specialty cake from the bakery, he admired them so much that he ordered even more the following day.
‘Whether, like Ed, Taylor will order more of the same desserts the following day we don’t know,’ she continued.
‘What we know is that this patisserie has captivated the hearts and taste buds of those who can genuinely appreciate the intricacies of traditional old-fashioned baking including superstars.
