Donna Kelce’s Gift to Taylor Swift Might Be an Indication Where Her Travis Kelce Romance Is Heading
With the Super Bowl less than two weeks away, all eyes are on Taylor Swift’s relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
While some critics don’t like the attention the couple is getting, from a business perspective, it’s good for football.
The naysayers still seem to think this is PR relationship, but it’s mom Donna Kelce’s recent gesture toward Swift that should tell everyone that this romance is the real deal.
At Sunday’s playoff game with the Chiefs playing the Baltimore Ravens, the “Shake It Off” singer was spotted wearing an adorable (and affordable) “87” jersey ring form EB & Co.
Swift is known for supporting her boyfriend in NFL gear, but this particular piece of jewelry was not her own purchase — it came from Mama Kelce.
Local Kansas City business owner Emily Bordner revealed to her local news outlet, KMBC, how that ring wound up on Swift’s finger.

“We gifted Donna some pairs. We know that she loved our earrings. And so, we wanted to gift her even more of Kelce themed products. So, we sent those to her and then we were hoping that she would give them to Taylor.
And she did,” Bordner explained. While the $14 ring, which is now sold out, may seem like just a trinket for the football season, Donna’s thoughtful gift could reflect how she feels about her youngest son’s very famous girlfriend.
The small present to Swift isn’t the only way Donna is making her feelings for the talented singer known. She’ gave her subtle approval on social media, recently liking one of People‘s PDA Instagram posts featuring Travis and his girlfriend.
A source gushed to the media outlet after the Chiefs’ playoff win about how the Kelce family views the football star’s very public relationship.
“It’s obvious, isn’t it? They’re genuinely happy together,” they said. “She’s there to support him and cheer him on, and she’s fit in seamlessly with everyone he loves.”
The best part of Swift’s acceptance into the Kelce clan that they don’t treat her like a “superstar” — they are treating her like family.
Those warm vibes will likely be on display come Feb. 11 at the Super Bowl where Swift and Donna will have another chance to show off their loving bond.
