Cardi B and Offset are one of the most famous couples in rap music. Their romance progressed quickly but also fell apart just as quickly.

Cardi B and Offset have been together since early 2017, when they secretly married that year and welcomed two children together – daughter Kulture Kiari, 6, and son Wave Set, 2 1/2. However, with so much love and support they have for each other, the couple has also had their ups and downs.

The break-up and reunion of the rapper duo

In 2018, the honeymoon phase of the couple’s engagement was short-lived, as less than three months into their honeymoon, videos allegedly showing Offset in bed with multiple women began circulating online.

Cardi told Cosmopolitan in February 2018 that she was staying with Offset despite his alleged infidelity. “I want to work things out with my man and I don’t need to explain why,…” she said at the time.

Then, in December of that year, the rapper announced that she was divorcing her husband. She told fans: “We have a lot of love for each other, but things have not been going well between us for a long time.”

However, in January 2019, the couple announced that they had reconciled and got back together, much to the surprise of the public. The female rapper shared with Elle in an interview: “We have been working on our personal things together!”.

The happiness did not last long, after 3 years of living together, Cardi once again filed for divorce in September 2020, after discovering that Offset had cheated on her again. In October of the same year, Cardi and Offset were caught dating and having intimate gestures at her birthday party.

In December 2023, the couple seemed to have another falling out when they unfollowed each other on Instagram. The Bodak Yellow hitmaker also shared some cryptic messages via his Instagram Story: “I’m tired of protecting people’s feelings”; “I have to put myself first”…

A few days later, Cardi confirmed on Instagram Live that she had been single for a while. “I want to start 2024 fresh and open. I’m curious about a new life, a new beginning. I’m so excited,” she said.

The couple once again sparked reconciliation rumours when they spent Valentine’s Day together in Miami in February this year, following divorce rumours just months earlier. The pair were spotted dining at Carbone, although Offset made sure to keep his distance from the mother-of-two.

Welcoming the third child amid allegations of divorce from her husband 

Recently, PageSix exclusively reported that Cardi filed for divorce from Offset on July 31 with rumors that the rapper had called it quits on their marriage.

Although rapper Offset has vehemently denied the allegations — again. A reputable source says Cardi’s main priority right now is to “get primary custody” of their two children.

A day after filing for divorce, Cardi confirmed pregnancy rumors in an Instagram post. “Every ending has a new beginning,” she captioned the post, thanking her unborn child for “giving her strength.”

Cardi wrote: “I love you so much and can’t wait for you to see what you’ve helped me achieve, what you’ve pushed me to do. It’s so much easier to accept the twists, turns, and challenges of life, but you, your brother, and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it!”

Many colleagues and friends have left well wishes for the rapper and her daughter. However, many netizens have flooded the artist’s personal page to criticize her irresponsible and loose lifestyle.
